A young woman listens to headphones in a gritty corridor at Eastern State Penitentiary, Philadelphia, PA.

I make music videos, direct short films, and shoot concerts, portraits and street photography in and around Detroit.

My work is DIY in spirit and polished in execution—built for artists and brands who are ready to invest in visuals that match the music.

I’ve been in the pit at venues like Saint Andrew’s Hall and The Majestic since I was 14. I grew up in the shadow of the city, graduated from Wayne State University, and have championed Detroit’s independent spirit for as long as I can remember.

Now, I use that lifelong connection to document the scene’s evolution—whether I’m capturing the raw energy of legends like The Suicide Machines and The Toasters or collaborating on visuals for the next wave of artists like Matt Wixson and Stone Clover. My lens is focused on the endurance of the DIY spirit in Detroit, from 45th-anniversary tours to the first music video.

Most artists didn’t pick up an instrument because they love logistics. That’s where I come in. I bridge the gap between “Corporate Creative Ops” and “DIY Grit.” I take the song you’ve spent months perfecting and apply a disciplined production flow—scripting, lighting, and editing—to ensure the final video feels like a high-end production but retains that raw, hand-crafted “Digital Xerox” aesthetic.

It is difficult to rattle me, which is an essential feature on a production set where chaos is a constant guest. My collaborators call me “Human Xanax” because I stay present in the moment and solve problems as they arise. This energy lowers the temperature for everyone involved, keeping the entire crew in a flow state from the first shot to the final wrap.

I specialize in a “Digital Xerox” aesthetic: visuals that feel like a hand-drawn 90s concert flier come to life. Gritty, tactile, and unapologetically DIY in shooting style, but polished in final execution.

I’ve delivered high-impact visuals for the American Heart Association and local Detroit initiatives. If you have a story that needs to be told but a budget that won’t work for a large agency, I specialize in maximizing minimal resources to bring your vision to life.
